Lyrics & Translation: shrIpatimiha nanda

Post by HariKrishna »

From Malladi Brother's Sri Narayana Theertha's Sri Krishna Leela Tharangini Vol. 3, sung in rAgam kAmbhOji. Was not able to find via google despite trying at least 3 different spellings.

The number of Charanams is daunting. Still, here is the first part:

pallavi
aye sakhi - O friend
iha nandagopagŗhe - here , in Nandagopa's house
ākalaye - (I) think
śrīpatim param - Vishnu the supreme lord of Shri
āgatam - has come

anupallavi
gopakadambaka gopagopikābŗnda-
tāpasa jana rakşaņāya - for the protection of the groups of cowherds and their maidens and the rishis engaged in penance ( I think...)

padmāņkuśādirekhaM - The lines shaped like lotus and goad
divya-pāņipādābjagataM - found on His divine lotus-like hands and feet
paramapuruşacihnaM - are indicators that He is the Supreme Lord
bhadradam - and givers of benefits
avadhāraya aye sakhi - Understand this, O friend!
prakaţīkaroti - This proclaims
paripūrņabhāvaM - His perfection/omnipresence
amogham - that is unfailing
bhajadārtiharam - in removing distress of devotees
