Acharyanet: SR Janakiraman -Video Lec-Dem Part 1

As a part of an ongoing service to serve the Carnatic Music student community, Acharyanet will be posting complete video clips from live lecture demonstrations by eminent teachers and artistes.

We are also in the process of interviewing gurus/musicians on various important topics pertaining to aspiring students in Carnatic Music. The first of these series on 'Voice Culture' will be coming up soon.

These efforts are sincere and comes from our long term commitment to preserve and archive the important padantharams/styles of teaching of the various schools for future generations.

We introduce the first of these series in 'Diversified Themes and Ragas' in Tyagaraja's compositions- Part 1 by Padma Shri Shri SR Janakiraman. Thanks to the wonderful effort by the Music Forum team (Dr Sunder) and Sruti magazine.
