Overall a Good concert. Song selections were good. Madhyamavthi was the pick of the concert.
Dhanyasi and Madhyamavathi alapanas were by Lalgudi Srimathy Brahmanandam
panthuvarali and keeravani were by anuradha sridhar.
I found Anuradha Sridhar's playing bit aggressive.
Arun Prakash was very good. He really anticipated sangathis and really elevated the concert.
Thani by Arun Prakash and Sukanya Ramgopal was entertaining.

Yesterday she presented a concert at MUDHRA. It brought within me nostalgic memories of the LPs I have heard in the eightees. Even after thrity years, the same solid reposeful music unadulterated by the arbattamana music today I could hear.

The Krishna Gana Sabha concert cassettes where both Lalgudi Jayaraman and Lalgudi Srimathy Brahmanandam played together,
is always fresh in my mind. They have rendered the lalgudi pancharathnam in it. I don't know how many times i have listened to it.
It is good to go and listen to her playing.
