sAketaraman presented a nice concert with Shri.UKS and others. When I entered he was
finishing nAttai. No frills or suffocating swaras. Gentle and soothing music.

Short sketch of Hindolam followed by Nambik kettavar-(S) pApanAsam sivan

kAmbodhi – followed by “kAna kaN koti vendum” – PapanAsam sivan neraval in
“mAnikkam vairam... baranamum” and swaram

Kanta jAti jampa tAlam, kanta gati
“Ananda natana prakasham, chitsabesham, chidambaresam, Ashrayami, satatam” followed in atAna, priyadarshini and behag.

Excellant kAmbodhi, though this lasted one hour. He navigated on “kAmbodhi” beautifully. His spontaneity in bringing some of the “pudis” in kAmbodhi were outstanding.
Violinist return in Brindavana sAranga was too good. he was not at best in kAmbodhi.
Tani- no need to say. Sri UKS and Udupa. Playing Mridangam during tAnam was soothing. Closely following the artist with smiling face. Treasure and pleasure to have someone like Shri UKS playing.

Oh.No:
kAmbodhi was too long. Rasikas, like me, prefer kutcher padhdhati of sub-main, main & RTP.
Most of the artists in MA planned that way only.

General
But nothing will take away the credit of Kambodhi....
Our “Hilarity king” was sitting behind Shri UKS. Request him to throw some input about this programme in his style !!!

What do U mean ? SR sang kAmbOdhi nd the violinist played Nattakkurinji !.Because there is no song in NK as written by you.

GRS what is ur problem ? May I request you to follow the regular format?
