The kannaDa AlApana was delightful and so were the swaras. The ranjani Alapana was the highlight of the concert for me. Shri Ravikumar's manOdharma is fantastic! He's been one of my favorites for many many years. The main item was a refreshing change from the songs usually sung in KAmbhOji. Nice line for neraval. The tani was quite noisy for my taste.

This was the first time I was hearing Shri Suribabu accompany the brothers and I must confess that I was quite apprehensive about it detracting from the concert experience. It was a pleasant surprise, however, to see a leonine voice add on to the two already on stage and the shlOka rendition by him completely reinforced the value-addition.
