Superb concert and a nice one to start the year with. sri rajagopala - what a kambeeramana song!
IMO, percussion accompaniment was very good, not running in its own track or being too aggressive/loud. Tani was also quite measured and not a bang-a-thon. JV's mridangam had metalic thom/nom (like, like) kind of sound rather than thap/chap (not like, not like) kind. Fantastic patterns for Sri Rama Padama. I don't know if it is just me or anyone else feel it - khanjira sounds very nice/pleasing.

After Saveri ,Sri Rajagopala (vijay sang same saveri and sri rajagopala in MA also on 20th december),he presented a slokam followed by "Mamava pattabi rama in a typical DKP,DKJ style.
Then he presented moving (selected versers from) Baghawan Ramana Maharishi's "Akshara ramana malai"(Arunachala Shiva ) in ragamalika.
He presented "Eeru mayil" Tiruvannamalai tirupugaz.
"Hari bola " in mohana followed, concluded the concert with mangalam.
Compared to last year the rasikas behaviour was very good, indeed it was pleasent to see the organisers put carpet(jamakalam) in the hall instead of plastic chairs .So could enjoy the concert by sitting on the floor.
Sri.Vijay shiva gave a good concert supported well by Ms.Amrutha Murali,Sri.JV and Sri.A.Athreya.
I was personally happy to hear "Arunachala Shiva" from him on new yera day.

Does paridAnamichitE has cittaswarams? Vijaysiva sang cittaswarams for that one y'day.

One of the most moving renditions of the akshara mAlA of Sri Ramana Maharishi I have ever heard is by Smt. MSS on the ocassion of Ramana Jayanti. As I understand it, the maharishi equates aruNAcala the mountain, with aruNAcala/Siva in these verses...

sankark,
Yes, paridAnamiccitE most certainly has cittaswarams, which are sung after the anupallavi and again after the caraNam.
There is one intakannAnandamEmi by Thyagaraja in rUpakacApu, which has cittaswarams in some versions (like TNK) and doesn't in others (like TVS/MMI).
