From the very start sanjays voice was very good and the sound system was also good unlike NGS.there was not a dull moment.after the varnam tatvamariya with kalpanaswaram made a good start.kedaram piece was sung leisurely.a lovely alaap of abhogi was followed by the MD kriti sreelakshmi varaham.
next was the sub main pantuvarali.ragam and an elaborate niraval at agamamula in the tyagaraja kriti sivasivaena was very good esp.varadarajan could reproduce sanjay s sangathis very beautifully.ananda bharavi was a prelude for the main item.
then came the majestic sankarabharanam.GKB s kriti innam oru daram was a good choice.excellent kalpanaswarams by both sanjay and varadarajan.
Tani started and venkatesh and venkatramanan were in full form the crowd sat spell bound.there was a thunderous applause when it was over.and when sanjay sang ennamum oru daram a second time again every one clapped.
vazhimaraithirukkudu was a listeners choice i think.after that i started going out as it was already 9.20.but when i heard visveswaru i stopped outside and couldnot move till the end.
so it was such a lovely concert from 6.45 to 9.30.
whenever i listen to such music i wont be able to sleep for a long time, such is the effect sanjays cocert created for me.even now i am listening to some of the items from the recording thoug it is not a perfect one beeing taken in the temple.

Never seen such a receptive crowd... Every nook and cranny in that little temple was filled up and it seemed like the crowd relished and appreciated every one of Sanjay's grand and grander (as the night wore on) embellishments!
