OMG, what a concert! So inspiring and humbling to see a nonagenarian travel half the way across the globe (no mean feat) to give such a concert. The saveri was out of the world, with a scintillating niraval at "Kadhambavana Nilaye Amba Kancha Lochane Bhavani" followed by a lovely array of swaras. The khamas, nattai and YK were quite outstanding. The beauty of the ragas were just oozing from everywhere, be it from RKS, Ramakanth, Muralidharan and even the mridangam of Easwaran. The tani avartanam was very enjoyable too. Nagai Muralidharan was in his elements during the entire concert.

Unfortunately, the concert started late and had to be reduced to ~ 2 hours, but RKS showed how he could bring out the beauty of ragas in a short span. As if to underscore this point, he gave a 5 second teaser for kannada that I could listen in an infinite loop.

I look forward to reading a more technical review. Feel free to correct any mistakes.
