Apart from attending the morning pancharatna kritis program,I attended a few evening concerts. On Jan 8th evening I listened to a few vocal artists like Anuradha SureshKrishnamurthy,Mannakal Rangaraj,T.V Ramprasad,Mani Maran & Carnatica Bros.I also got to hear instrumental performances of Kanyakumari(violin) & Chitravina Ravikiran(chitravina).
Amongst all I liked Manimaran's vocal & Chitravina Ravikiran's instrumental performance the best. After hearing all the noise & commotion that day,I felt both these performances were very appealing & soothing to the ears.
Mani Maran sang both the kritis beautifully.

2.Uyyala Loogavaiyya-Neelambari-Khandachapu
Chitravina Ravikiran's concert sounded very peaceful & extremely melodious especially after a long tiring day at Thiruvaiyar. He rendered mostly all rare kritis of Thyagarajar.Sri Ummayalpuram Shivaraman gave a thundering support on the mridangam.I had earlier heard this combination & I think they both make an excellent team.On the viloin was Neyveli Radhakrishna who also gave great accompaniment.
