This was part of the veena seshanna memorial series in Gayana samaja, bangalore - today being the final concert of the series. Sadly, the concert started late by 7:10 PM and ended by 9:30 after a 15 minute speech, a concert just over 2 hours.

Ravikiran as always played a magnificent concert with very rarely heard kritis of veena seshanna. He later said he had to learn many of them specifically for the concert.

he was supported by his student Vishal Sapuram on chitraveena.

Akkarai Subhalakshmi as usual was excellent on the violin. The local percussion trio provided very good support to the concert.

It is nice to see that Veena Sheshanna's compositions were performed and especially nice to see that these were compositions other than the usual tillAna-s (that are more commonly performed).

Could you tell me which other concerts were featured in this series?
