Song list:
Begada: slokam followed by sankari niive : subbaraya sastri, rupakam
Pantuvarali: raghuvara, adi, tyagaraja
Dhanyasi: meena lochana, misra chaapu, syama sastri
Nilambari: karuna nanda ..., adi, kumaara ettendra bhupapathi
Purnashadjam? : sree manini, adi, tyagaraja
Kalyani: kamalambam, Dikshitar
Rtp: sriragam and kharaharapriya
Sindhubhairavi?: deva deva ...

From the start, she was really, really good. Here raga essays were superb. In the rtp, in sriragam, the d was hardly used. I think she mismanaged her time. She could have done with another 30 mins on the rtp. There was a touch of varali? In the rtp. The sriraragam and kharaharapriya pallavi did not gel too well. Bombay Jayashri, BMK, more recently TMK (jaya tv)KVN do this rather well.

The nilambari song was really rendered beautifully. I have not heard this one before.

Nevertheless, she will go places, I feel.

This was a refreshing treat after Sowmya.

I was not in the concert . I am curious when you say another 30 minutes she could have allocated that is a lot of time for you to expect . May i roughly know how long she sang the pallavi.

20 minutes. She built up the other ragas slowly and steady and so well. She spent more time on sriragam -- did not get enough
time for kharaharapriya. whatever she sang in kharaharapriya -- it was like just endorsing the raga -- not much of an
essay.
