Sandeep Narayanan gave an inspired vocal concert on the memorial day of Tanjore Kalyanaraman commemorated by Shanmugapriya.

He was accompanied by Ananthapadmanabha and Praveen Kumar.

Observations

1. The organizer spoke briefly before the concert and said that Sandeep was the obvious choice for a concert commemorating Sri Kalyanaraman's music.

2. The accompanists were in great form and were at their individual best as far as I remember.

3. Concert was heavy on manodharma from start to finish. Sandeep voice was in good form even after the long season.

Nice to hear about this concert . Looks sandeep wanted to spend his time deep into ranjani mala RTP. ALso rishabapriya early opener with a finish of deepAli and the thillana of Gavati . WOW sandeep- keep it going .

Yes.. RTP lasted an hour.

Have never heard Kalyanaraman except for short clips and this was a great tribute.
