One would be really feel happy looking at the list of krithis and immediately conclude this would have been an impressive concert.
But there is always spoilers waiting
1. Embar Kannan missing
. I heard he didnt turn up for Hyd Brothers concert too. No idea who played the violin today.2. No sign of N Amrith - Mightily upset since I went to this concert for Special Thani of the trio.
3. Acoustic trouble started right from first note. There was one big 'bass" sound kept on coming. The guy at the console was clueless. Both Prasad and Karthik were trying instruct him to but in vain. The noise, looked to me coming out of one of the Sruthi. This continued till Darbar (3rd krithi) and got reduced a bit.
By that time I got frustrated and wanted to step out. Lost interest completely.
4. I also observed the all the artists on the stage were not all that comfortable. I could make out from their body language there is something missing .
5. Evident that there were very short Neravals and Swaras which was really surprising.
I just waited for the main krithi to finish and walked out when Thani started. I never walk out during Thani but today is not my day.
This is purely my personal opinion and strongly felt that there was something the artists could be feeling missing/messing.
