My season sort of kick started and what better than a TVS concert. All time tested master pieces of TVS, which i would have umpteen number of times rendered by him, but still sounded fresh and as if am listening to the first time yesterday.

Such an outstanding concert. There is a certain beauty of singing kalpanaswarams in pure sarvalaghu, eschewing the maths and who better than TVVS to execute it, starting from sArangA swarams. I have always enjoyed the vocal support of TVS' son much more than his daughter's accompaniment. He was brilliant yesterday and added on the already robust music of TVS. The kuraippu swars in khAmbhOji was executed beautifully.

H.N Bhaskar & Ramesh were outstanding. Hope this is the first of many more TVS concerts this season.
