Arts. The objective of this organisation is to promote classical fine arts in Karnataka and work towards the wellbeing of the artistes in the State.
KFAC organised a very successful week long National Level Youth Concert competitions in May 2014
Towards the broader objective of promoting classical music and the improvement of the well being of the artiste community, KFAC is hosting a "Karnatakada Shastriya Sangeetha Kalavidara Samavesha" on December 7th, 2014 at The Bangalore Gayana Samaja auditorium between 9.30 am and 1.30 pm. The objective of this Samavesha is to discuss additional possible ways of promoting classical music in the State which would also lead to betterment of the artiste community. Hundreds of artistes from Karnataka will participate in this Samavesha. A set of suggestions arising out of the deliberations of the Samavesha will be presented to the Department of Kannada and Culture as a memorandum.
