4 Speech - While he sang two phrases of Hamsanadam he started talking about the way his senior musicians sang Dwaithamu and Bantureethi those days. I left at this point to catch RKSK at Arkay.
My second post on this forum. Thanks to a few forum members kind words that have given my ego some kind of reassurance. I went to this veterans concert on a chill evening but was slightly disappointed. Looks like the winter weather has started claiming victims early this time. TVGs voice was completely gone and in very bad shape. He also has been singing a lot and playing enthusiastically so maybe the age factor too. I only hope that the younger generation dont think this is what the master musicians quality is. I couldnt stay for long and see him struggle to hold a single note. Varadharajan made up for all the inadequacies while Balaji and Anirudh gave good support. Hoping to catch this master in full form again somewhere during the season. Ive also added date time and venue to this. Will give as much detail as possible.

I dont think I can translate and recollect it exactly but it was something along these lines
"I feel like I am singing from my inner self especially when I am singing songs like Dwaithamu and Bantureethi keeping in mind the way all my senior musicians sang it and Ill be happy to be able to sing like them some day and bring in the same emotion"
