sAmOdam cintayAmi - I joyfully meditate upon
sarasIruhanAbham - Lord Padmanabha (Vishnu)

*cAmIkara* sadrsha cEla rAjitakaTim - One whose waist (kaTi) is shining with a golden garment (cAmIkara = gold)

mura mukha sakala mahI bhAra nAshanam - The destroyer of all those who are a burden to earth , like Mura
nirupamatara guNa nikara vAri sImam - The ocean of incomparable virtues
durita sama virAmam - The ending point of all sins
pUrita natakAmam - The fulfiller of devotees' wishes
cAru vadana sOmam - The one with a lovely moonlike face
*vidaLita* bhaumam - The killer of Narakasura, son of Bhumi

sAmaja parivrDha santApa vibhanjanam - The destroyer of the sorrow of the lord of elephants (Gajendra)
*tAmarasa* bAndhava *tuhinAmshu* nayanam - The one whose eyes are the sun(lotus-friend) and moon (snowy-rayed)
sama bhuvana pAlam - The protector of the whole universe
sAhasika gaNakAlam - The death of the cruel
himakara khaNDa *phAlam* - The one whose forehead is like a piece of the moon (crescent)
kamanIyatara lIlam - The one with pleasing activities/sports

mauni nikara cAru mAnasAbja marALam - The swan that resides in the lovely heart-lotuses of Rishis/Munis
ghana karuNA nivAsam - The abode of great mercy
phaNI rAjatalpa vAsam- Resident of the hoods of the Snake King (Adisesha)
ghana sadrsha bhAsam - The one whose brilliance resembles a cloud
mAnanIya mrduhAsam - The one with a gentle smile that is worth meditating upon
