Mudhra and Sankara Eye Hospital, Pammal will be conducting “Yuva Sankeerthan” – a programme to inculcate Bhakthi among children through the medium of music. This event will be held on 11th October 2015 (Sunday) from 3.00pm to 4.30pm at Infosys Hall, Ramakrishna Mission School Premises, T.Nagar. Swami Apavargananda, Editor, Sri Ramakrishna Vijayam will inaugurate. On the occasion, the “Guru Shironmani Award” will be conferred on Smt.Sethubai Rajagopalan, Principal, Vivekananda Junior College, Vyasarpadi.
This “Yuva Sankeerthan” programme will be a congregational singing by 1000 children from about 50 schools. The singing will be led by noted musician Dr.Radha Bhaskar & party. All the children will be made to join and sing small Bhajans, Namavalis and patriotic songs. The songs to be presented have been recorded in the studio and sent to all schools so that they can practice and present them well.
This will be a very unique and one of its kind programme where through mass singing, the children will be made to experience the divine power and vibration of music. It will also make children understand how music can be used as an effective tool to develop unity and harmony.

Re: Mudhra presents Yuva Sankeerthan
Great move Mudhra. What a way to inculcate Bhakthi and introduce the medium of music to youth; only draw back is what will you do to avoid children of other faith feeling left out and when schools have to follow secularism.
