I have always admired the brothers not only fortheir INNOVATIVE contributions to Carnatic music CREATIVELY as artists but their INVOLVEMENT in propagating our culture through out the world through music. I want to BRIEFLY MENTION THE VARIOUS PATH BREAKING ENDEAVOURS ON THEIR PART IN CELEBRATING THE MS CENTENARY SOON IN NORTH AMERICA at MAJOR LOCATIONS.
I WOULD LIKE TO REQUEST THE VARIOUS LOCAL ORGANISERS & RASIKAS TO WRITE ABOUT THE HAPPENINGS IN THEIR LOCATIONS SO WE CAN ALL SHARE THE IMMENSE CONTRIBUTIONS THEY ARE MAKING......
BRIEFLY SOME OF THE INITIATIVES ARE:
1)CARNATIC MELA IN VARIOUS MAJOR CITIES FOR MS AMMA with all day events featuring competitions with MS AMMA AS THEME. 2) MS BHAKTHI SYMPHONY WITH OVER 75 kids conceived by Sashikiran 3) Debates or Pattimanram on why MS AMMA has been a GLOBAL AMBASSADOR FOR CARNATIC MUSIC for over seven decades.4) MS AMMA quiz, talent performances 5)MS AMMA Nrithya Katha Kutcheri featuring music by Carnatica Bros, Aishwarya Viswanathan (great grand daughter of MS AMMA), anchoring & Nritya by Smitha Madhav & Katha by Suchitra Balasubramaiam.
In addition CARNATICA BROTHERS in a few places will pay tribute to Alathur Brothers.
To QUOTE SASHIKIRAN THE TOUR (12 MARCH TO 15 MAY) "The tour aims in bringing together a huge MS Fan club to celebrate the legends centenary year be it connnoisseurs or even a relatively fresh rasika"
I have yet to come across a family where EVERY ONE is A PRODIGY+GENIUS and in addition share their creativity in very PRACTICAL ways. We should all thank Mr.Narasimhan and ask him to conduct a course on how he did this miracle & how we can all try to emulate this MIRACLE....

VKV: WE WILL DO OUR BEST TO HIGHLIGHT THE BROTHERS' INITIATIVE IN COMMEMORATING MSAMMA, DURING OUR CELEBRATIONS IN NY ON MAY 15,(Sunday) at the HIndu Temple in Flushing Queens. I agree with you about the WHOLE FAMILY'S involvement in propagating our music and culture. As an aside, Ravi Kiran is performing at Hamsadhwani on March 6th--Our family 'K.S.Mahadevan Family Trust" is sponsoring the concert.

As I have mentioned in the Topic MSS Centenary Celbrations,I request forumites who live in the Tristate area and those who may be visiting the area either on business or pleasure,to attend the function in large numbers as a mark of respect to a Great Artist,Philanthropist and Humanitarian.

The brothers, apart from coming from a musical treasure of a family of past and present times, are doers as well. The music world has very few artistes like them who apply themselves to connecting with society and in keeping music alive by tireless efforts. Because of them, we get to hear more concerts, musicians get more chances to perform.

13th March Carnatic Mela at Seattle From 10 am to 5 pin organised by Veda temple has a MS amma symphony, Concert by
SAishwarya and a Nrithya KutcheriA by Carnatica brothers with Smitha Madhav, The event also has quiz and performances
by local talents and Sangeeth Samraat 2015 winners.

18th to 20 th March Bay area Tyagaraja Festival organised by Kala laya and Cleveland TyagarajaA festival featuringA
several leading artistes and also dedicated to MS amnia and Alathur Bros. CentenaryA celebrations. There is a Tyagaraja
Carnatic Walkathon or Unchavritti before pancarathnam on 19th March 8 ,30 AM. Following the pancarathnam is the MS
amma centenary spl With Nrithya Kutcheri of Carnatica brothers with Smitha Madhav and an exclusive MS amma s classics
by S. AISHWARYA. The festival features thematic concerts by other popular artistes and also has Tyagaraja Premiere Awards
to musicians.
OfcourseA Cleveland festival itself features Several programer dedicated to the centenary celebrations which include the
MS AMMA spl symphony that I am presenting with S. Aishwarya leadingA participantsA and also Cleveland stateA
universityA orchestra on 27th March Sunday, The event has S. AishwaryaA s spl concert for MS amnia in the firstA

23rd April Dallas 3rdA edition of Ind US fest. Organised by CarnaticaA Texas exclusively dedicated to MS amma. Features
Carnatic star and Bhakthi Star competitionsA for MS amma s repertoire of Classical and devotional exclusively for children.
Also features the MS symphony. Performances by local talents , groups and Sangeeth SamraatA winners from Texas.
Special concerts by NirmalaA RajasekarA on Veena is dedicated to MS amma ' s and her mother as a vainika. The event

24th April An exclusive Carnatic Jazz concert with Tiruvarur Vaidyanathan' s Vibrations ensemble with CarnaticaA
BrothersA also featuring a leading pop singer Maya Azucena and a jazz percussionistA prof Mark Stone will be to highlight
MS amma as a global icon and the funds raised used for charity as was MS amma ' s way of life.
30th April is the Carnatic Mela by GLAC om associationA with School of world music and dance , at Detroit dedicated to MS
amma featuring musical pattimardram antakshari, MS symphony, local Talent performamces, Nrithya Kutcheri and more.
1st May MS spl Carnatic Mela at the Delaware Hindu TempleA features all of the above.
6 th May - Exclusive MS amma CarnaticA Symphony at Cary NC. Featuring over 90 children with exclusive Children
orchestra presented by Carnatica brothers.
An exclusive dance group with MS amma' s repertoire will be presented by the children choreographed by Smitha Madhav,
7th May will have a double header featuring Carnatica brothers and followed by a Hindustani concert as part of the
celebrations.
8th May MS amma spl concert by CarnaticaA BrothersA with Smitha Madhav
14th and 15th Minneapolis SV temple' s Nadotsavam. This is the 6th edition and is dedicated to MS amma
The event has Carnatic andA bhakthi star contests and also performances by local talents. Nirmala RajasekarA will present
an exclusive concert on 14th and 15th will feature S. AISHWARYA s MS spl concert and Carnatica brothers MS spl on
VenkateshaA Vibhavam.
Smitha MadhavA will present a dance recital dedicated to the Carnatic Icon.
This completes the Spring tour which is supported by all the local organisers and ClevelandA TyagarajaA festival along with
