Lakshman Sir, or anyone else, do you have lyrics for a Bhairavi Pada varnam that starts as 'Sami Vinara'? I don't know who the composer is but it's on Kuppeswara.

Looks like very few dancers have performed this padavarNa even though it predates Ramasvami Dikshitar. I am trying to get in touch with a dancer who has performed this piece on stage.

Thanks Lakshman Sir, yes, it seems to be from coastal Andhra Pradesh and prevalent in Kalavantulu's dance (named Vilasini Natyam now). BTW, do you know the composer? I didn't know this pre-dates Ramaswami Dikshitar! Wow! I would love to know the history/composer of this varnam.
