I have missed good part of this series this year due to travel had only last 2 days to catch up. I had plans only to go tomorrow being Super Sunday starting with AKC,Bombay Jayashree, JA Jayanth & Sanjay. While browsing through the itinerary I saw Apoorva playing today and quickly rearranged my plans to attend today. Also never heard Ashwath earlier.

Coming straight away from her last concert at Venugopla Swamy Temple a week back where she accompanied for Adithya Narayan, her bowing was just brilliant. I was happy to see her here again.Her darbAr was just outstanding.She was brilliant right from the first note with her returns.

Ashwath was good throughout, both alapanas darbar & sankarabaranam executed nicely.The neraval portions were too good. I just felt a slip in the swaras in varali in the concluding phrase.

Sumesh & Anirudh played out a lightning tani without raising the decibel levels.

Totally very energetic execution by this young team. Kudos to them !

On the good side the auditorium was almost full since Aruna Sairam was about to perform at 6.30 and the crowd had glimpse of this young team performance (guess Ashwath first time in Coimbatore).

PS : Exciting day await tomorrow starting right at 8 AM with AKC. Jayashree's will be a thematic concert 'Tharunam'.
