Just now listened to the wonderful concert by this young vidwan. BUGanesh Prasad-Violin, Shertallai Ananthakrishnan-Mridangam and Trichy Murali Ghatam. The main song was Vanajanayana in Kedaragowla of Thyagraja. Never heard this song so far. Presented very well with elaborate alapana, neraval and swarams. Good voice control, manodharmam, proportion, bhavam. Other songs like Tarunee jnan, Jagadodharana, Ninaikada neramillai, Sapasya kausalya all sang well. Semmangudi school was evident in many songs. A vidwan to be heard more n the coming season.
