sEnApatE namOstutE, s@pallavi an opening that is a boundless energy package and brisk rendition of this unheard song in gowLai http://www.karnatik.com/c8670.shtml
nekkurugi unnaippaNiyA just a little bit odd vocalization of ne of nekkurugi that sounds like nEkkurugi

There is something unique about her voice, that draws you in (NCVish? To go with rajeshnatism, has power and throw). Open throated singing though not shouting.

A brilliant, energetic presentation.

Ananya rendered the viruttam in Maund, Shanmukhapriya, Khamas & Sindhubhairavi and followed it up with Theeradha vilaiyaatu pillai (which has stanzas originally set in the same ragas but in reverse order). A beautiful Kalpana!

Her singing has shades of similarity to Aruna Sairam.

Absolutely spot on. Definitely sounded odd....
Otherwise very nice concert. I hope she doesn’t find the inevitable comparison to other artists odious.....

sankark,
You said it right. Padumanabhan maruga was just buoyant!

ns@vasavAdhi pUjitam tani
alagil viLaiyAttai anRAdam seivAn rAgamAlikai followed by theerAdha viLaiyAttup piLLai. AA requires a special mention for his very good accompaniment for this song.

She certainly needs to pay a little more attention to pronunciation, anRAdam/anRAdum, paddumanAbhan, kadiththu/kaduththu, etc. sound jarring. If she were uniformly atrocious it won't stand out, but she is good overall (she is able to distinguish l vs L, zha sounds mostly for example) so these stand out.
