MY ARTICLE ON MUSIC SEASON IN SRUTI MAGAZINE

I am happy to inform that my article on the Music season titled MANY PLUSES THIS SEASON has been published in the Sruti magazine of February 2018. It is not a complete review of the concerts. A four page article with many photos, I have discussed about some of the new songs I heard in the concerts, and some of the intricate pallavis I heard during the season. I have also dealt with the inadequate infrastructure in some sabhas, dwindling attendance, unwanted baggage as a result of the sponsorship, the reach of the social forum and fleecing of rasikas by the caterers during the season.
