I'm looking for the lyrics and word-to-word translation of "baagilanu teredu" by Sri Kanakadasar (for dance choreography). I tried googling but couldn't come up with the lyrics.

Not word-to-word, but a start. Look on page 9 of http://www.sruti.org/library/Sruti%20Ra ... i_2004.pdf

Don't miss hearing Smt. Seetha Rajan's rendition of this dEvarnAma on Sangeethapriya as well.

Thanks to you both, Lakshman and kmrasika.

Kmrasika:
The link was very helpful, thank you. From my knowledge of spoken Kannada, I can pick out what most of the words mean, but if anyone can provide a word-to-word just for choreography, that'd be great! And I searched sangeethapriya but could not find this devarnama.

I wonder if it is popularly rendered in atana. I found a recording by Sowmya in revati and it's gorgeous.

I'm apologize to give you the wrong name of the singer. It is by Seetha Narayanan and it is at: http://www.sangeethapriya.org/~tvg/257. ... 4%20MB.mp3

For your reference the kannaDa text of the song(and another rendition): http://www.dasasahitya.org/DetailedKirP ... Keerthanas
