Hello Rajani and Arasi,
I am no expert of Classical Music or Malayalam yet as a Malayali I can tell this much about
the song.
vEgam cennu - vegam 'cennu' can be vegam 'chennu' meaning Go quickly.
shOkam connu - shokam 'connu' should be shokam 'chonnu' meaning tell my sorrow and yes its her shokam that nayika is requesting sakhi to convey.
May be if you can listen to the song from the website mentioned above the pronounciation would be clearer. Thank you.
Hope I am not confusing you all.
Devi
