(In retrospect it was a good idea to cover the rAgAs from A-Z as only now I realized how many rAgAs I do not know anything about and I'll stick to this approach for the rest of the posts in this section. But I will sometimes backtrack from strict alphabetical progression whenever I find I missed a rAgA or have something else to add in older threads.)
So dhAatuvardhani being the 69th sampUrna mEla, belonging to the last group of 6 (Aditya chakra) has the following scale :
Aro : S R3 G3 M2 P D1 N3 S
Avarohanam : S N3 D1 P M2 G3 R3 S -- this combination gives a distinct flavor to the rAgA
In my search for audios and videos, I keep finding new channels and resources daily. I hope some rasikas will put them up on the YT channel threads in the Internet Resources section.
So a quick introduction to the rAgA : https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xAZqcdqLOe8
And where there are mElakartas involved, the following personalities shall always be there by default - Koteeswara Iyer, M Balamuralikrishna, Maha Vaidyanatha Iyer and S Rajam.

So here he is, singing Koteeswara Iyer's composition - sukhakara sOmasundara : https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nY7HZJLE2FU
BMK has also composed in dhAtuvardhani, the only recording I was able to find of his composition is this one : https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ogFg73zrunU
I have to add here that shuddhAnanda bhArati has composed in many of the rAgAs I've been covering over the past couple of months, but I've never managed to find much of his audios on YT. He also has a composition in this rAgA.
Apart from this, whenever mEla rAgAs come up, there is always Maha Vaidyanatha Iyer's pranathArthihara (for which I intend to share the recording of both MS Amma and Vedavalli mAmi when this is done). Till then, that's about it for dhAtuvardhani.
