I found the pieces quite off beat and refreshing. PArticularly choice of early ragas-- Saranga and Khamas. Both rendered very well with lots of accent on the characteristic 'pidis'. Neraval in Khamas was very lively with a lot of bhava and energy. The chalanata piece was almost poetic in her rendition, so bhava laden, an excellent and emotive peice. Bhairavi was expansive tho a bit of neraval would've been welcome. Behag was wonderful as also again the choice of ragas in the slokam. The tarangam seemed a rare one. Bhajans seem to be a speciality with her and I esp enjoy the diction of hindi in her bhajans. Her Signature sign off with BMK's tillana rounded it off. A really enjoyable prog with good accomps. Viji and Viji seem a good combo!
KGS mikes were good and the genral ambience in the hall is really nice. good series by KGS!
