This is the first printed product representing the culminated efforts taken by Vidushi Dr. G. Baby Sreeram as a project in collecting, tuning, notating, documenting and disseminating the compositions of the late Vidwan Sri Puthukode Krishnamurthy, whose compositions are diverse in lingual and thematic forms.
The present book contains notations to 50 compositions, wherein some popular pieces like varavāraṇa vadanam (pantuvarāḷi), śrī harē janārdana(rēvati), and śrī jānakīkānta (pūrvikalyāṇi) are included. The notation is provided in brief in common English, however one can refer to the renditions posted on the PKM 100 playlist on Dr GBS's Youtube page for the respective song. The sāhitya of each song is provided in dēvanāgarī, tamiḻ as well as English in the second part of the book.
The soft cover has a vintage design with glazed pictures of Goddess aṇṇapūrṇēśvari of putukkōṭ, the composer, and the author.
