Re: Amrita Murali - Arkay CC 12/12/24
I tossed up between Saketharaman in BVB and AM, and ended up in ACC since I heard the other recently. AM has a diligent, classical approach which I enjoy. Also, she has an interesting repertoire and throws in a rare one.
Thyagaraja’s Natakapria was that. Lovely Kriti with a detailed Alapana etc by both AM and LRama. Beautiful!
And then another detailed Saveri by both, after which I had to leave because my landlady could smell the Masala Dosa waiting for her

(Hello MV, I hope to see you somewhere soon! Somewhere, for me, mostly meaning Ragasudha, although I have been to Arkay and Sastri Hall too in recent days.)
