Shabdam lyrics found need meaning pls

I was able to find the words for the Chandrachoodane shabdam by Smt. Ranganayaki. Can someone help me with some of the words and context please.

Pittukku mann sumapen endru esipesi vandhu idam,

Mattilla miga sombalodu pani puriyaamal irundhidave

Thitti migavum pendhan than pirambaal avarai adithidave,

Patta adi paarilulla uyiranaithum pada seidhaai,

Uyir anaiththum Un uruve endra unmayai unnarvaithaai

Clarifications
Esipesi to whom did shiva esipesi to? The paati? Don’t understand this.

Also meaning of Mattila and pendhan.

vEndan means king.

EsipEsi - maybe to the king's men who commanded the labourer (Shiva) to do his work well, and not be lazy - Not sure of this
