I enjoyed their concert too. The rItigowLa varNam was an essay in izhaivu. A very nice choice of songs too. Another thing that I like about the duo is that they have distinctly different voices and though they sing in unison, when they take off on their own, they have their own identities, unlike some other 'bros' and 'sisters'.
Anusha, I thought the mukhAri kriti was sung very well too.Their ini enna pEccirukkudu in sahAnA was very emotive.
This year, I had the pleasure of listening to all of the Narasimhan tribe. Ravi Kiran's concert at Kartik Fine Arts on that very rainy day was a treat too. I heard the last part of Kiranavali's concert at Swamys (Samarpana) and was pleasantly surprised. It is two years since I have heard her. Her voice has more depth now, and she is evolving into a better singer. I wished I had arrived there earlier...
