Thank you Lakshman sir.
This kriti has his mudra, garbapuri.
But Jagath Janani in rathipathi priya does not have it.A observation.
Is there a rendition of this kriti in bairavi which is said to be the original ragamof this kriti?

One more request.
www.karntik.com is THE site for info on composers and their lyrics.
Can't we make it comprehensive including these kritis?

Are Garbapurivasar and Ghanam Krishna Iyer the same person? I don't think so.

The mudra "garbhapuri" was collectively used by by a quartette from karuvUr, namely ShrInivAsa, pedda dEvuDu venkaTasubbayya, cinna dEvuDu kr.shNayya, cinnasvAmayya and dakshiNAmUrti ShAstri; hnece the term "garbhapuri kIrtanAs" same title with which the Music Academy published their compositions.

More info on the quartette: http://www.karnatik.com/co1023.shtml

I believe Jagajanani Sukhapani is a composition of MM Dandapani Desikar.

Au contraire, MMD tuned the original by Ghanam Krishna Iyer to Rathipathipriya.

There is this other composition of Garbapurivasar titled 'Naa Manavini' in Ragam Chakravaham and Talam Rupakam.
There is a 1985 live concert recording of T.N Seshagopalan sir singing it. He is accompanied by Guru karaikudi Mani and Nagai Muralidaran.

No, they are two different individuals. The former composed tamizh padams while the latter had a few varNams, kIrtanams (ShrI pArvati in ShrI a very popular one) and the tODi kamba rAmAyaNa tillAnA (because he skillfully tuned a verse from the famous tamizh work as the sAhitya of this piece).

If ganam Krisgnaier composed only padams, then is the kriti jagatjanani
tuned in ragam ratipatipriya by Dandapani Desikar composed by Kundrakudy
Krishnaier? Please clarify. There are a lot of wrong information circulating about this famous kriti.

I think it's the contrary. In the past I attended a lecdem on gAnam kr.shNaiyyar's compositions by Dr. subhAshiNi pArthasArati who did her PhD thesis on padams & jAvaLis. She mentioned that jagajjanani was composed by gAnam kr.shNaiyyar and originally in bhairavi. ShrI daNDapANi dEShikar retuned the now-famous version in ratipatipriyA for the movie with the same name. You may also know that "cummA cummA varumO sukham" in aThANA is also a composition of kr.shNa aiyyar.

Check http://rasikas.org/forums/viewtopic.php? ... tions.html for our discussion on kunRakkuDi kr.shNa aiyyar and his compositions.
