This concert was enjoyed by people for different reasons.
Some admired the technical wizardry, some speed, some happy to listen to Bantu reeti and Raghuvamsa sudha. There was a standing ovation after the anupallavi of Raghuvamsa sudha!? and the charanam was completed after the applause had subsided-in a lightning speed.
I did not understand what went on during the Sri Kantimathim piece. It turned into a Ragamalika followed by Tani with a standing ovation at the end. Overall I felt speed kills..
I attended his concert 12 years ago and I was looking forward for a more mature concert with newer pieces. Alas, at the end I felt ignorance is bliss.
