Sawai Gandharwa music festival, Pune

Hi,

I learnt that this festival is held over three days in December.

Any news about this year's festival - the dates, location, tickets..?

I am in Pune for 3 months, so must make the most of it

Planning to attend this myself this year. There appears to be no website...my guess is that it will be between 4th and 7th December this year...please do share details if you have them.

Pasting info received from a colleague:

Usually this happens some time in 1st or 2nd week of Dec, lasts about a week. It is held at some of the schools like Raman baug Narayan peth, New English school Tilak Rd in the evenings, starting from 7 p.m to 11.p.m. Tickects are available at the same place any time during the program. Tickets charges are 100/- to 150/- Bhartiya baithak, 500/- for chairs, 1000/- VIP's for one day, u can have seasonal ticket for three days in conssestional rate also.
