I heard a song of Smt.Nithyashree Mahadevan. It was a Lalitha Shivakumar composition
It began like Kapali nee dayanidhi...
My friend told me that the ragam is Kapali
Can anyone tell me more about this raga...Its extremely pleasing one.....
I would like to know if there are any other songs in this raga,..and which mela raga janyam is this...

The raga is pAlini.
The only other song I have listed is by Venkataraman Balu- en sumai nIkkiDa, also sung by Nityashree.
