What a concert! TNS's deep voice and its range was just amazing. If Atana was soothing, Ennadu nee in vachaspathi was exhilarating. While presenting Brovavamma’ of Syamasastri and Sarasadhalanayane’ of Muthiaha Bhagavathar in Saramathi in slow tempo he brought the raga bhava as well as the sahitya bhava to the fore. Thodi alapana was vibrant and gave a contrast after the previous serene melody Manji and Saramathi.. The alapana was breathtaking and extremely moving, and the melody was overflowing with the bhava of the Raga. Audience were totally spellbound when he rendered effortless Thanam Pallavi and Ragamalika svarams.
The Pallavi was "Gana Lola Karuna"

It is proper to mention about the entire team when a concert is reviewed, sorry i forgot to mention about the accompaniments, V V Ravi on the violin Trichur Narendhran On the Mrithangam and E M Subramanyam on the ghatam. I liked the rich imagination of the violinist he followed in an intelligent manner during the entire concert, The Percussionists gave a thani that was best suited for the concert and their rhythamic support was so musical.
