What a start of the season for me. Having arrived in chennai this morning, it was a enjoyable takeoff. Though I have read in this forum about Saketaraman, I choose the concert looking at the accompanying artists.
Saketarman sang very well, though the music system was not very best. He gave a wonderful alapani in hindolam and bhairavi. I am not an expert but I felt that his manodharm was exceptionally good.
His swarakalpanas in both Hindolam and Bhairavi were excellant.
And the Thani was also very good, with US sir outstanding.
I think I saw our Erode Nagaraj at the dais. Iam sure he will add his wonderful review to this concert.
