It was 200 minutes of wonderful soul touching music. No doubt Iam a great fan of hers. But her music was equally enjoyed by my sisters also. Concert started with Kanada varnam and gathered momentum with Panthuvarali which had agood alapana and niraval. Tha fast phased Malavi was followed with Reethi Gowla with a short alapanai.

The main item Kambodhi took almost 80 minutes including the Thani. The alapana was eloborate. Thani was also eloborate. I thought the ghatam artist excelled in thani.

The auick RTP with ragamalika swaras also enjoyable.

Over all it was a greatly satisfying concert.

Looks just like an MS concert songlist. Except for the nattai piece I have an MS recording that is identical. It is a wonderful songlist and Ms. Venkataraghavan has a great voice, wish I was there. Thanks for the post

Awesome list - GVji has a golden voice and sings with a happiness and swokhyiam which is most remarkable. Her Smara sada manasa in DD 1 TV concert (Bilahari) was top notch!!

Seems to have been yet another fine concert by GV.She certainly is making waves these days. And harishankark-- your comment on her voice is spot on--GV truly means golden voice;)
