The swarakshara prayokams for this song were enjoyable. The filler sarasasamadana was rendered in a fast tempo. On the whole , there were pleasant neravals and sangthis in abundance., raising the standard of the performance especially in gana mazhai, T he accompanying artists gave excellent support to GG .gobilalitha

How better can it be than starting a morning concert with a varnam in navaragamalika! Smooth transition of ragas, flow of swaras and tempo.
‘Ippadi paadinal yen Krishnar varamaattar?’ - Swagatham Krishna"¦
The ‘Mahakavi’ must have felt happy had he listened to his composition being sung like this (and not as a thukkada). It felt like ‘Carnatic Music’ pleading to God for ‘Saaga varamum arulvai Rama’ and yes, it is granted. It will live till there is life on the globe.
Mayamma had a meditating effect.
Towards the end it was ‘ Kannan gaana mazhai pozhigindran’ in Ragamalika made us to think it was Kannan then and GG presently!
Good - Brughas, Sangathis / ghamakams, shruti sutham, emotions, neravals, accompaniments - Akkarai, JV and Sunderkumar, settings, audio"¦
Sugamaana sangeetham!

This excellent concert was part of the Chennaiyil Thiruvaiyaru series. It will be telecast in Z-tamizh.
I agree with the previous posts that the concert in all and Mayamma and Kiravani, in particular were extremely well handled and presented.
Another highly enjoyable concert of GGs (as has become the norm for GG concerts this season).

'Saha varam tharuvai' is tuned by Sangitha Kalanidhi T N Seshagopalan Sir and his breathtaking alapana of Varamu followed by Sahavaramu' at a Concert under the auspices of Vanavil' Chennai is still reverberating in my ears, the concert was overwhelming and the Great Semmangudi mama' the doyen was present in the audience and was enjoying and appreciating TNS sir for his novel ideas and manodharma.

True, this programme was telecast on Doordarshan too. It also features in the AVM double cassette album ( Bharthi Bhakthi Ranjani) Not only this song, TNS has tuned many songs of Bharthi in a most exemplary manner. He has also sung a concert for Tamil Isai Sangam featuring only the songs of Bharthiar.
