I bought this as a single track from emusic.com; no info about the accompanists. The track is 33 minutes long and is of good sound quality. To my ears, it sounds like L. Subramaniam: the phrases, the 'tone' of the violin. Has LS played for SSI?
It is L. Shankar and Palghat Mani Iyer. from an old AIR recording in 1980.
Both brothers have played quite extensively for SSI in the mid-late 70s through the early 80s.
The same album features Deva deva -mmgowla and Saravanabhava- Shanmukhapriya.
