Excellent concert... While Sri Ravikumar's bhavapriyA sounded like shubhapantuvarALi + tODi in the beginning, it finished on an unambiguous note. The violinist's version in my opinion excelled the vocal... It drew a lot of appreciation from both the brothers and the audience.
The rAga exposition of dwijAvanti was soothing n melodious... Had its share of poignant moments... But the treatment was completely akhilANDESwari-dwijAvanti-ish. Not one bit reminiscent of chEtashri bAlakrushNam... Sri Embar Kannan's solo was also very beautiful...
