Ranjani Hebbar Shines

Smt. Ranjani Hebbars music concert was well attended and the crowd never becomes thin upto the last item. She has got a beautiful voice that attracts people ,ofcourse with lots of music and self enjoyment. She started with ,Vathapi ganapathim, with lively swaras and from there the concert never sagged. The ,karnataka devagandhari had very beautiful ,pidis with mesmerising sangatis made everyone very happy for ,bajare re manasa, and the violinist Charulatha made it still more enjoyable with her playing. The RTP was in Nattakkurinji .misra jathi tripudai in kanda gathi was a challenging one which Ranjani made it short and sweet because of time but overall it was full of ,bavam and the mrudangist B.C. Manjunath played beautifully and shared the honours equally. The team work was so syncronising it was a memorable concert from any angle. The concert was ringing in my ears for a very long time.

Must have been in Bangalore ... as tmtfan1 is from bangalore i know ....

Could you be clear as to the venue and date pls sir ?

This was at Rama Lalitha Kala Mandira - generally concerts at this venue are very good - I missed this concert since I was very unwell

The next concert, if my memory serves me right is that of Amritha Murali - who won the Music Academy award in her slot for the previous season -
