It's presumably this Arun Ramamurthy, a student of Mysore Manjunath (and Nagaraj).

I agree with Sunayana. Also, of late, Manju 's music has acquired more hindustani contours with a lot of plain notes. The distilled classicism his of illustrious brother is somwhat amiss in his style. It may be a small side effect of of scores of jugalbandis he has played with narasimhulu vadavati.
I heard Nagaraj and Manju play in Gokulam krishna Temple at Mysore 4 weeks ago. Though they played with a lot of gusto (with two mridanga accompaniments) , Nagaraj especially sparkling in is sublime bilahari, their swara prastaras seem to have become almost too much math oriented. Kuraipus are long drawn and swaras seem almost rote, lacking spontaneity. At the end of a the concert, it would be fair to say that i went back a tad disappointed and that may just be because I for one, expect nothing but the best from them.
