Hi Mehfil,
I had ultimate pleasure in viewing your site. My favorites were ofcourse, Ghulam Ali vedio clippings.
In page 10, 4, and 41. One must see the vedio clip in page 10.

Page 10 is a must. Ustad sings same piece in 3 octaves to show how it sounds.
You must see his vedio clip singing in page 41 how he drops from 3rd octave to 1st Octave suddenly and his challenge to audience.
page 5 has a pahadi in punjaabi. Excellent.

In all these, we can see how involved Ustad Ghulam Ali and how he makes everyone in the audience
part of his show.

ustad Ghulam Ali's range is rare. I am wondering who has this kind of 3 octaves range especially the lowest in Carnatic circles.
ustad is always a humblest man and see how he refers to his khuda everywhere.

Thanks a lot mehfil. If you have his 'dil me ek lahar si hawaa uthi'... can you please upload that?

ShabAbE Ishq .. yAdgAr kOi nahIn.. the evergreen melody is the best of his hits. He used to sing in all mehfils as same is requested.

I too like this song of his.

Yes, it was there - sometimes you have to try different spelling due to transliteration problems.
