‘varuvAi manamOhanA’ by MLV and V.N. Sundaram was one of the songs of the Tamil movie 'Inspector' released in 1953. The Music Director for the film was G.Ramanatha Iyer.

Many thanks for that superb simhendramadhyamam classic with the nice comedy dialogue.
I thought it was from 'manampOl maangalyam'!
Do post more of these old classics...

P-B, the teaching is for the dancing/abhinaya, not the singing part...('face-la tuDippu varavENDAm?' 'uDambu, mugam ellAm appaDiyE surungi pOi' etc...)
