I have attended only one concert of Balu mama (sethalapathi balasubramaniam) at Sastry Hall. I was much impressed with the song 'Iyye methakadinam' and the pattern of singing vrutthams. Is there any audio recordings of Vrutthams by Balu mama ?

Sir, could you please post meaning for these lines.

i found an explanation online but would like to hang
on to every word and understand it better.

Riches great, they will get,
Knowledge fine they will get,
A mind that never tires, they will get,
Godly beauty they will get,
Friends who do not deceive they will get,
And all this and more they will get,
From the incense filled flower haired Abhirami’s,
Slanting sight from her beautiful eyes.

i also found Sri V K Subramaniam's book
online but it is only a taster and does
not have the full meaning online.
The phrase "anbar enbavarkkE" as a
refrain is very beautiful.
The order of requests also seems pivotal.
Is this verse a prayer for one's near and dear ?
i have understood "anbar enbavarkkE" thus.

Thank you very much,
ranjani
