உச்சி குளிர்ந்ததடீ;-சகியே!
உடம்பு நேராச்சு

Thank you for starting this thread to honor women with bhArathi's verses.
To this day, even in the so-called civilized parts of the world, women are yet to realize Bharathi's dream of sari samAna vAzhvu (equality) at home and at the work place.

I don't deny that there are some women who do not need any laws to make their lives any better. The question of gender doesn't come into it because of their individual traits--a situation where instead of being victims, alas, they victimize Just as there are men (bless them) who do not need any laws or guidance to treat women with respect...

The history of women on earth says this above all...
That they are resilient and are equipped to deal with reality--perhaps more than the male of the species?
