Iam a mridangam student and i have heard a lot about this forum . I have learnt from Sri.TVG and i attended sri.Ashok ramani's concert today. After listenig to his concert i was searching for any of the postings of Ashok Ramani's concerts in this forum. To my surprise there is no posting of his concert. I decided to bring to your notice that Ashok Ramani's concert was just brilliant and i could not resist posting this review. The highlight of concert was karaharapriya ragam and neraval and the RTP was very good. TVG was very energetic and after the tani he announced that he chose to play for Ashok Ramani because of his vidwat and what he said was evident in the concert. The concert was attended by many musicians including Karaikudi Krishnamurthy. My sincere advise is that you guys should attend his next concert and give your comments and you will approve my review.
