It was another concert of pristine music. There were no unwanted frills or additions to the music. It was pure classicism from the beginning and each piece was rendered with a lot of gait. The AlApanais were very vintage and had a lot of enjoyable phrases. Each gamakkam with precision and each song with the grandeur, the concert was totally very fulfilling. The accompanists were very good and added a lot to the concert.

I just got this elsewhere
ChAyA Natta
A Janyam of MeLam No. 34 VAgadIsvari
ArOhaNam: sa ri ga ma pa ma pa sa (or sa ri ga ma pa sa)
AvarOhaNam: sa ni dha ni pa ma ri sa
Some compositions
in ChAyA nAta are:
Idi samayamuna (AdI) Tyagaraja
Talampa Venaka (Adi) Annamacharya
the sndnpmrs phrase, which I think occurs in the krit's pallavi might have been misleading.

One of the finest performances heard so far after Alamelu Mani. Pristine Classicism.
Neraval and swaras at Bhusuradhi were astounding.
The raga essays and replies to the swara passages (especially in Kambodhi ) by Amrita Murali were excellent.
Inspired sensitive play by Ganapathiraman.
